ABOUT TZUDY WEIR

Tzudy has been in the music industry for over three decades, starting at the age of 8. She now has over 60 exam credits to her name in a variety of instruments and musical theory, and has taught in both private and public schools. She was in her first band at the age of 11, signed her first recording deal as a recording artist at the age of 17 and has travelled all around the world as a working musician. She also has experience working as a royalties manageress and a booking agent as part of a record company.

Tzudy's live experiences include working for EMI Leisure performing on Cruise Ships and Club Med resorts, playing to a crowd of over 10,000 people at the 1994 Bindoon festival, being the first local band to play Perth Metropolis nightclub in tribute band, 'Alanis Chilli Jam,' playing all across the country with residencies at a number of venues including Metropolis Fremantle, making numerous TV appearances on a number of programs including Kids Company, the Good Morning Show, Telethon, etc. winning 1st place in the state final of the Australian Idol 'My Mum Rocks Competition,' and coming 2nd overall in Australia at the finals held in Sydney.
